despite their now-former attorney insisting that there's no way his clients would appear if summoned before judge hoppe, the judge issued an order today scheduling depositions in sines v kessler for elliot kline (aka eli mosley), matthew heimbach, and dillon hopper.
as the identified head of the entity vanguard america, dillon hopper cannot appear pro se in this case. he was ordered a few weeks ago to find a new attorney by 6/25... he's got a few days left. 
there will be a telephonic hearing scheduled in the next few weeks to discuss the (lack of) discovery produced by these three defendants. it's possible judge hoppe could initiate contempt proceedings at that stage if they don't show up for the call.
plaintiffs have filed for attorney's fees for the drawn out discovery process. the motion is still under consideration. kline, heimbach, and hopper have until july 5 to respond or else the motion will be considered unopposed. that's quite a bit of money, boys.
depositions have been scheduled for these uncooperative defendants. judge hoppe was confident at a june 3 hearing that they'd be made to appear one way or another, even if it meant sending US marshals to retrieve them.
