Don’t focus on methodology. Three years into the worst peacetime political crisis in our modern history, and four weeks from electing a narcissistic sociopathic pathological liar as prime minister, the main Opposition party should not be third in any poll under any circumstance.
The electoral landscape has never been riper for Labour. The country is on its knees begging for leadership, the Tories have descended into fanaticism and don’t dare speak the truth to voters or themselves. If Labour can’t capitalise then what is Labour for?
I remain a Brexit optimist, in that I don’t believe we’ll get no-deal and still think we have a real chance to secure a referendum, but in general I’ve never felt such despair at the state of our country or its leaders or any prospects for its immediate future. Could fucking cry.

The weirdest part of this is Flint’s belief that by imposing a damaging Tory Brexit on her constituents they will respond by thanking Labour
It seems amazing to have to repeat this, but: people voting for Brexit Party are not coming back to a Labour Party that backs customs union, possible ref or indeed a deal of any kind. Brexit Party is for no-deal. That can & will never be Labour’s position. Those voters are gone.
That may mean you have to accept possibility of small losses to the Brexit Party, because you will never match them on policy. What you can do is explain to voters what you believe is right and why, and maybe they’ll actually respect you for it and vote for you.

Extraordinary that experienced and clever people still think you can have a ‘standstill transition’ without a withdrawal agreement. It simply beggars belief that they can’t understand something so basic. It’s like Brexit has turned their brains into mush.
Close second is ‘put the backstop into negotiations’. The whole point of it was that it shouldn’t be contingent on future negotiations BECAUSE IT’S A BACKSTOP. Again, this argument is so obscenely stupid you want to give people the benefit of the doubt by assuming it’s malevolent

Russia and Iran are engaged in disinformation campaigns aimed at US citizens. Twitter just released over 10 million tweets from over 4500 Russian and Iranian accounts engaged in influence operations dating back to 2009. We've analyzed the data. Here's what you need to know...
Russia's influence operations are far-reaching, aimed at a number of countries. This, of course, includes ops aimed at US voters in 2016, but also includes their own people. 58 Russian-language accounts tweeted regional "news" related to Crimea, Syria, and other military action.
44 US-directed local "news" accounts amassed over half a million followers. By using local-sounding news source names, they were able to dupe Americans from *other* regions to share what they thought was authentic news.
