A thread:
I had planned on having Kate Major Lohan on the podcast and emailed with her multiple times. I hadn't heard from her in about six weeks and then today I got an email from someone using her account.
This was the entirety of the email:
"Kate is in rehab again after overdosing and winding up being held for sex in a crack house by the starched person.
I'm sure shed love to share her " horrific" journey which has destroyed numerous lives, especially her children's. "
They also included multiple photos of the same person, who I am assuming is the "starched" (sic?) person.
My reply was :

Thanks Michael (assuming it was him). Hope she finally gets sober.

Los Angeles, reading a book about death of CIA operatives shortly after the death of Epstein in a photo taken with a really expensive camera lens. Also, if it was a marketing campaign, the photo would have been leaked to @TMZ not the @nypost - LA people think TMZ before the Post
We are going to see this again. Some combination of messaging. This person went to the Post because that is something they read rather than TMZ. If they were in LA, they would have sent it to TMZ.

Many faculty are often frustrated that students seem to have a poor understanding of the literature, or are surprised when students don’t know the “big names" in their field. However, one must realize it is easy to get “pigeon-holed” while you are focusing on your MS/PhD
Reading groups are one way to address this issue – meet weekly or bi-weekly and read literature in a given field. However, too often reading groups are dominated by faculty/postdocs with more experience and students are afraid to speak up for fear of ridicule or embarrassment.

Joshua was very much a rainbow baby 🌈 and we were so excited and over the moon when I finally made it into the second trimester. (Alex and I are both big rugby fans!)
I was working as a 1st year Registrar in A&E when I suddenly broke my waters at 24 weeks. I was transferred to Southampton @UHSFT who have a specialist level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. They were wonderful, and did everything they could to stop my labour over Father’s Day.
