(Thread) Hey there: it's the last day of #Pride Month, 50 years after #Stonewall, and there's something I'd like to share. This month has been extremely hard, and today seems appropriate for something I've been scared to do for far too long.
I think a lot about how @BreneBrown defines shame: "the intensely painful feeling or experience of believing that we are flawed and therefore unworthy of love and belonging – something we've experienced, done, or failed to do makes us unworthy of connection."
Hosting @1A has brought me into the lives of millions of people. I've been honored to meet lots of our fans, many of whom praise me and the work we do. I'm grateful for that, but it's had an unintended side effect that's forced me to reexamine how I live my life.

2. Brian Kilmeade spent much of Fox & Friends criticizing Trump for calling off military strikes, arguing that it “makes us look so weak” and "weakness begets more attacks."
3. Steve Doocy and Ainsley Earhardt were more charitable, basically saying that Trump knows what he’s doing and will respond in due time and would probably use military force.

It's quite something that on the heels of the Covington Catholic-indigenous activists affair some media outlets are not being more careful how they report on this story. Reserve judgement. There are barely any facts right now, mostly rumors first reported by a gossip website.

Loving the hell out of Spider-Man, but it very easily could be called Arkham Spider. This game owes an incredible debt to the Batman games.
Swinging around the city feels as fulfilling as zipping around Arkham City felt the first time. It's so much fun.
The writing is so good too. Just simple throw away stuff of Spidey cracking wise and doing running jokes is thoroughly entertaining.

I was expelled from my all-girls high school for being a #lesbian & put in a mental hospital for #conversiontherapy.

I became an #LGBT activist to prevent that from happening to other girls like I was.
Yet conversion therapy is still legal.
Happy #Pride
I memorialize every #lesbian who died hidden in the shadows because of #homophobia, who was forced into compulsory heterosexuality, who was made to live a lie. You deserved better. We honor you by making a safer world for lesbians today. Amen.

2: When I was 8 y/o, I was watching [early] Oprah with my dad. Her guests were middle-aged women who identified as lesbians. I’d never heard that word before, so I asked him: “Papa, what’s a lesbian?”
3: My dad looked a bit alarmed but quickly said “Hush, that’s a bad word. It’s not for kids to use. Don’t say it again, okay?” And trusting my dad, it didn’t come up again. Not for a LONG time.
