Hey Twitter, I'm excited. Why am I excited? Because the incredible photographer Aline Manoukian, who shot much of the Lebanese Civil War, has entrusted me with her archive. I'm going to organise and scan as much of it as I can. 
Much of it's undated, so I might enlist your help trying to date certain pictures. There's a lot to get through, but I can't wait. Aline was an amazing storyteller of the war.
There's been such a great reaction to this, I'm so pleased there are others as excited to see Aline's archive as me.
I just want to clarify, Aline hasn't *given* me her collection (entrusted was perhaps a poor word choice). I'm just a friend/photography nerd who wants to explore & help digitise her collection. It remains her property and part of the cultural heritage of Lebanon.
When (if...) I ever finish going through the whole archive it would of course go back to Aline.
The first batch! These negatives probably haven't been touched since the war. They're a little dusty but otherwise in great condition
From the first batch of negatives scanned. There's loads of great shots on here and we're just one roll of film in. I'm very excited...
