In addition to gathering in DC for this #July4th weekend, Identity Evropa/American Identity Movement is planning a white nationalist rally in #Dallas, #Texas for August 16-18, with plans to book hotels and @Airbnb rentals in the McKinney area.

Like Identity Evropa, American Identity Movement is trying to manipulate their @Wikipedia page. Patrick Casey went as far as paying a PR firm “thousands of dollars” in an apparently unsucceful attempt to get Wikipedia to say IE/AmIM aren’t the same group.

NEW: After being banned by @Zelle and @PayPal, the neo-nazi group Identity Evropa, through its front group the 'American Identity Movement', is now using @CashApp to raise funds.

We were unable to reach @Square, the owner of @CashApp, for comment about the ‘whites-only, no Jews’ hate group’s use of their payment processor.

Square’s CEO is Jack Dorsey, who is also CEO of Twitter.

Earlier this year, we reported that the American Identity Movement was raising funds via a Zelle account tied to Identity Evropa, despite their claims to not be the same group.

Zelle banned the account after we asked them for comment for our story.

Before they rebranded, Identity Evropa trained members in how to discuss white nationalism while side-stepping accusations of racism.

The training was given by a longtime employee of the Leadership Institute, which trains mainstream conservative groups.

Since renaming his group American Identity Movement, Identity Evropa leader Patrick Casey has privately bragged about success reaching the "boomer patriot crowd".

He cited recent interviews he has done on InfoWars as evidence of the strategy paying off.

One of Identity Evropa’s reasons for renaming the group was to use conservatism as cover to avoid being banned from web platforms.

It’s beyond obvious to point this out but the most prevalent, accepted and lethal form of “identity politics” in the world today is nationalism. We’ll still be preoccupied with the “national interest” of these imagined communities as we hurtle towards extinction.
The DUP and the Tories are risking the Peace Process because of their “identity politics” but it’s never discussed in those terms, why is that?
