Breaking: Southern California has experienced another large earthquake. Preliminary @USGSBigQuakes reports put it at a 7.1 magnitude quake.

Update: The epicenter was in Ridgecrest, CA, the same location as the July 4th shaker. This one, though, was much stronger at 7.1 magnitude. That's larger than the magnitude of the 1994 Northridge earthquake. lat.ms/2YzaA3X
Correction: This video was not shot at the Staples Center. NBA's Sumer League games are played at The Thomas & Mack Center at UNLV. This means the 7.1 magnitude earthquake stopped game play in Las Vegas.

Over 2,000 residents in Ridgecrest and the surrounding areas are without power following the earthquake, according to Southern California Edison. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Fire Department said no major infrastructure damages were reported in L.A.
