Question on Foothills bike wreck.

77 year old cycling was hit. Lots of broken bones. Excepted to recover. I know how long that will take at 49 yrs old.
Motorist Vehicular Assault and resisting arrest. Hopefully 10x amount of time in jail as cyclist recovery

In funding cycles, how much can we change after getting funding?

@ColoradoDOT manages the project after funding. Are we compromising the primary reason for funding?

What flexibility do we have on protects? Boulder competes with other cities and counties for funding.
North Broadway suppose to start in October 2019. Might have to go back to @DRCOGorg / @ColoradoDOT and explain why. They don't always get multimodal plans. #CarFirst

Businesses want 2 ton SUVs parked in front of their stores with cars going 35 mph past their businesses.
Bad for business .

Let's eliminate car parking and separate the bike lane with trees.
