3 Liars in WH Rose Garden. Flanked by Barr+Ross, Trump backs down on census question—but always with propaganda: “They’re trying to erase the very existence of the word ‘citizenship.’ Democrats are concealing the number of illegal aliens…to erode the rights of American citizens”
The most grotesque moment in the Rose Garden, however, belonged to Barr, Trump's consiglieri Atty General who's lied to Congress & the public, obstructed/undermined the rule of law…to prop a demagogue. Barr beamed, "Congratulations, Mr President"—TWICE—& slammed "media hysteria" 
Trump couldn't get his way on the census, so he put on an agitprop show & lashed out at the weak—like a true dictator—ordering raids, mass deportations. Briefly focused on criminal immigrants, he's now conflated all immigrants as criminals. An American Stalin in a Soviet America.
