Omar says Trump is violating his oath to the Constitution "and the core values we aspire to." She says, "As Martin Luther King said: all we say to America is, be true to what you say on paper."
Omar is presenting Trump as the un-American one. She says he's using this "blatantly racist" attack, and adopting the "agenda of white nationalists," to distract from his corruption and personal and policy failings.
Omar concluded by calling for impeachment.
Ocasio-Cortez says it's love of country that is behind their policy views. She ends: "We'll stay focused on our agenda, and we won't get caught slippin'. Because all of this is a distraction. It's a distraction from what's most important and our core values as American citizens."
Pressley says she doesn't want to spend too much time talking about Trump's words: "What we are focused on are the hateful policies that are draconian and oppressive and life-threatening and family-separating that is being rolled out by this administration every day."
Omar says "every single person who's brown and black" and "every single Muslim" has heard Trump's words from others before. She says she won't "dignify" his accusations with a detailed response, since every bigot "rejoices" when she is forced to answer to them.
