So... people are tweeting @USBank in protest of the US Bank Arena hosting a Trump rally, closing their accounts, etc.

Small wrinkle: US Bank doesn't own or operate the arena. They just paid to have their name on it.

But I am nonetheless fascinated to see where this goes.
I think, honestly, that the corporate entity that paid $$$ to have its "good name" on the venue is more likely to object than the more anonymous entity that owns or operates it.
We are waaaaaay overdue for conversations about how we sell the naming rights for venues that are often built mainly with public money anyway.
So US Bank wanted to put their name on a venue... and now it's being used by a would-be dictator leading racist chants.

Will this give them any buyer's remorse?
