We stand w/Ogilvy workers taking risks & putting their jobs online for what is right.

Ogilvy bosses: Cancel the contract.

Oglivy workers: Please keep organizing. We're asking on behalf of 100s of people we work with who are right now in CBP detention.

We remember when @Benioff's billion dollar tech company last year offered us $250k to whitewash the work they were doing to help @CBP. We said no then because we saw Salesforce workers organizing against it and because it was the right thing to do.

theguardian.com/us-news/2018/j…
Benioff told us: 'my people tell me CBP isn't as bad as ICE'. We told him he'd been misinformed.

Since then 7 children have died in CBP custody (before December 2018, no children had died in CBP custody in a decade) and the horrible conditions have been widely reported.
Ogilvy bosses argue: "I don’t believe at its heart [CBP] is intended to be a bad organization and do harm to people"

Did they miss the news every day for the past year? Most recently:
One worker summarized: "We’re willing to work with companies that contribute to obesity rates. And I guess, what I’m mostly hearing is that we’re willing to work with companies that are allowing children to die and that are running concentration camps."
Another worker: “I wanted to hear some kind of humanity. The entire time it was about money and clients,” another employee said. “But at the end of the day, people are dying at the hands of our clients.”
From workers @amazon protesting ICE contract, to the #wayfairwalkout we're seeing unprecedented solidarity across sectors.

We must keep building & organizing.

America must builds bridges, not walls.

We're not stopping until that ideal is a reality for those who need it most.
