Happy to hear H.B. 3239 passed the floor.
The Bill addresses the horrific conditions at the border by improving nutrition, water hygiene standards.
It also ensures facilities aren't overcrowded, & that people receive bedding & have health screenings by trained medical pros.

We believe in a world where no one is imprisoned for seeking a better future. We desperately want that to happen right now and until it does we need to whatever we can for the 10s of thousands of migrants in detention today.
This now moves to the Senate.
Call the Judiciary Committee (202-225-3951) & tell them to push S.2135 forward.
We need this legislation to pass so that CBP is forced to treat humans in their custody w/dignity. Too many people have died & suffered under the cruel hands of CBP.
