As @jeffjarvis points out: this headline from the @nytimes is an excellent summation of a multi-faceted journalism fail:

I bash ( very justifiably) the @nytimes (to the point where offers to come and write for them get rescinded) but this just saddens me. I cannot imagine how @nytimes journos feel about it. 3)

Can you imagine your employer being okay with framing what truly came across as a kkk rally as just a bunch of people chanting an ‘ugly phrase’. It’s just such a disappointment. 4)

Anyway—good luck to all the journos out there.

Oh and citing no evidence at all—not a tweet or a quote from Ivanka, the @nytimes informs us that she, infact, was pushing back hard on her father’s racism. Honestly @nytimes you should be ashamed of yourselves.
