Robert Mueller: "No."
Chairman Nadler: Is it correct that, if you concluded that the president committed obstruction, you could not state it?

Mueller: "The statement will be that you could not indict and would not indict because, under the OLC opinion, a sitting president cannot be indicted."
Rep. Demings: Did "lies by Trump campaign officials and administration officials" impede your investigation?

Robert Mueller: "I would generally agree with that."
Rep. Garcia: "If I had made a false statement to an investigator on your team, could I go to jail for up to five years?"

Mueller: "Yes, although it's Congress so..."

Last week, Democratic attorneys general in 17 states + D.C filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration, arguing that its practice of separating families violated the due process and equal protection clauses of the Fifth Amendment.
A new motion filed Monday came with more than 900 pages of declarations that included powerful personal testimonies from parents, children and other family members who were directly impacted by the Trump policy.
