My view is not very popular and it has gotten me into trouble with many pastors, but I believe what I say and teach are RIGHT.
I may cut across as blunt and harsh, but I do that on purpose because I don't want to sugar coat anything and be misunderstood...

I have come to realise that there are 2 kinds of "Christianity":
There's Christianity the RELIGION and Christianity the RELATIONSHIP.
The average Christian of today practices the RELIGION:
He does things RELIGIOUSLY.
Wake up in the morning?
Devotion.
Sunday?
Church service...

Mid week?
Bible Study.
Last Friday of the month?
Vigil.
2nd Saturday of the month?
Evangelism.
Organised Religion has taken over, we don't know what the leading & instruction of the Holy Spirit means anymore.
And our pastors are not helping matters because they want control...

I didn't go to church last Sunday. We were ready to head out when the Holy Spirit told me not to go:
"Stay home. I want you to learn something from Creflo Dollar on TV."
Now, how many pastors can you tell, "The Holy Spirit told me NOT to go to Church"?
Imagine the reaction...

We are too rigid with our understanding of God, we are too religious for the Holy Spirit.
I once ran into a friend who I know to have a full beard. He was clean shaven- I didn't even recognize him!
I asked why he shaved. His response was crazy:
He was asked to preach on Sunday...

But in his church, you are not allowed to preach with a beard. The head pastor said bearded folks remind him of Osama Bin Laden, so he doesn't like seeing folks with beards!
Does that make any sense?
But that's the Christian Religion we practice today.
We have set silly rules...

I was once in a prayer meeting where the pastor leading the prayer stopped us halfway into the prayers & said, "I don't like the way you're praying! I don't like it!"
And I wondered, are we supposed to pray in a way you like?
Are we praying to please you?
Christian Religion...

Some churches organise strange services: Feet Washing service, Blood of sprinkling service, Anointing for 1st born service, etc.
You go for these services and you want to ask: are we practicing Judaism or Christianity?
Apparently, they're just to boost attendance & offerings...

When my mother died, her church wanted to be involved in the burial rites. They told us they would send a delegation of 60 pastors for the burial.
60.
Is that not madness? What are 60 pastors coming to do? My family home & abroad is not up to 60!
But it's religion playing out...

They said they wanted to come & "honour" her.
How?
Would she count & know 60 pastors came to her burial to honour her? She's too dead to count!
Then they added the clincher: we should give them food in takeaway packs: they can't sit & eat with ordinary folks at the reception...

I asked them, Are you that hungry?
Why can't you eat with everyone else?
Jesus Christ ate with common folks!
But you can't.
Because of religion.
Someone has convinced you that you're a higher specie, you're God's PA.
But Jesus came down to our level.
Unfortunately you can't...

My views ain't popular, they've caused me to be seen as an Antichrist, but I'm not one to take the path that flows with the norm.
The Church IS practicing the wrong template, the template of RELIGION.
We must drop RELIGION for RELATIONSHIP for our Christianity to be effective...
