Hi @Ryanair. We travelled on Ryanair flight FR3556 on the 3rd of February from Stansted to Marrakech. Our luggage was lost. We have heard NOTHING from you about where it went. We've filled in all your forms. Just giving you right of reply before we have some press go live.
We lost over £2k of clothes, medicine and cosmetics had our holiday ruined. We had to buy all our clothes for a 5 day trip. I had an asthmas attack due to my life-saving medicine being aboard and I had to be hospitalised. If i I died I would have haunted y'all.
At Marrakech we waited 2 hours for the luggage but it never appeared. We went to the Swissport/RAK lost property service who said 'it was probably lost or delayed/it should be on the next available flight. We were given the reference number RAKFR11389 and a ticket number D3V9GQ.

Why the word "#diversity" is counterproductive to building equitable, fair organizations: a thread, a rant.

First: #language has both literal and contextual / socially constructed meaning. For our purposes, I'm talking about the socially constructed meaning of "diversity".
In last year's State of Diversity Report, we found that people overwhelmingly associated the word "diversity" with two groups: White women and Black Americans. Even outside the U.S.

Literally, Aussies were more likely to say that African American people were "diverse" than Indigenous Australians.

Let me tell you something specific: BLACK PEOPLE ARE NOT DIVERSE. Neither are women, Latinx folks, people with disabilities, etc.

One of the “tips” I have seen a lot of people give to writers who are having “writer’s block” (being unable to write) is to take a break and go outside. Does not always work. Not for me at least.
If I am not being able to write, that thought that I have writing to do and am not doing it, just permeates everything. Totally messes up mind even more. The “break” only becomes an extended period of not writing, making things worse.
So what’s my take on tackling writer’s block? Simple: grit your teeth and write. It might be total muck. You might hate it. But once you see those letters and words on a paper or screen, you will start feeling better.
