For the geographically challenged, notice that the border of Guatemala runs from the Pacific to the Caribbean Sea. This means that with today's agreement Trump stopped all asylum seekers from central America. Those from Guatemala and Mexico will be covered under the MPP policy 
In other words, except for unaccompanied children and those that fly here and/or come by sea, there will be no more asylum seekers held in "cages" at the border nor will there be any catch and release. They will be sent back to Mexico and Guatemala.
No more leftist funded caravans. No more "overcrowding". The wall will help stop the drugs and criminals and the CBP can do their real jobs which is protect the border not detention guards.
The agreement with Guatemala is for two years. We still need our laws changed and the loopholes closed so this border rush doesn't happen again. We actually could see a completely secured border within months here. As the border becomes secure internal enforcement will increase.
This will lead to self deportation increases as well as cleaning out the criminal elements. If a secure border and enforcement continues for several years, I could easily see Trump making an offer of legalization for those left.
Something like what he offered DACA hokders with a long process to citizenship but ability to legally work in the USA. This will bring an end to sanctuary cities/states and place everyone under the same set of laws again.
Tonight the "muh we are all doomed, immigration" crowd are crying in their beer. Whatever will the Anns of the world have to bitch about tomorrow. So sad 😢😢😢 I feelz for them. The Dems are sharing their depression. All those future Democrat voters stuck in Guatemala. So sad🤕
