It sure looks like @Twitter is retaliating against people who got a lot of engagement on anti-Ilan Omar tweets. Immediately after the tweets, impressions have taken an unexplainable nose-dive.

Twitter has the ability to do this, and the motivation too. This amounts to a lot more danger to the public/political square than some foreigners buying $100k of Facebook ads, or even Twitter bots. The ads and bots can be ignored, but disappearing Americans’ voices is dangerous.
The corporate and developer culture at @Twitter obviously agrees with Omar and AOC that criticism of them amounts to encouragement of violence. It’s what the mainstream Left believes now, so of course they will censor in the name of “public safety” rather than partisanship.
