This is a very fair & reasoned approach.
I’m not sure why so many ppl try to make every person/situation into a ‘zero-sum’ endeavor.
I find it likely that Mr. Coats was the right person for the time, did what he needed, and is making way for the “right person for right now”.

My biggest beef is that we haven’t had a declass for General Flynn’s work - this is info that we expect to be exculpatory and insightful to what he was doing.
The timing of that declass is just as likely a matter of LE issues as it was Coats preference...
