His publications are entirely trying to sell psychoanalysis as relevant to nursing. Now, as freelance, he is trying to sell it as relevant to trans children.

One might have thought that was a vested interest to bother the Guardian, but it has staff with links to psychoanalysis.

@drkamillak @guardian @TransMediaWatch @Mermaids_Gender 3/ Let us recall that the contract the Tavi have with NHSEngland for a monopoly of care of trans minors excludes psychoanalysis, but it is up for review. And remember too psychoanalysis is very intrusive/lengthy/expensive & has zero evidence base of being effective.

A lot of that money would go to the therapists - a huge reason for any of them to seek this - and those training more. It would totally transform the fortunes of the faith-based "profession".
