To friends who are Dallas Fuel fans, Effect fans - I’m sorry. I’m sorry this landed on your timeline. I’m so sorry you were let down like this. Every time I translate shit like this my follower count goes up and it’s honest to god one of the most disturbing things.
I started doing this in part because I knew I had friends who would want to access what players were saying, and thru translation we could talk/laugh about it together.
At some point some of the things I was translating became... this.

My rule for translating, usually, is “do I feel like translating this thing?”
From time to time, the question becomes “do non-Korean speaking fans also deserve to access this information?”
(Usually they do.)

I am subjective, I have opinions, and because translation is inherently a somewhat creative endeavor, my POV seeps in a great deal into my translations. So I am not a perfect information medium, not even close. The best I can do is let you all know I am imperfect and subjective.
I have confidence my translations are usually an accurate transfer of the words from one language to the other. But I know ppl have differing opinions on how to contextualize. The context I bring is my POV as a woman born and raised (mostly) in South Korea.
So pls know that. To some, that perspective may disqualify the way I choose to frame or contextualize information, phrases, outbursts. Please make that choice for yourself when you read the translations.
