I feel a sort of fury as I read this because it comes from Ian F***ing Warren who worked with UKIP to try & transfer the poorer labour vote to them.

Then with Labour.

Then UKIP/ Leave EU using above data

People aren’t just fascinating social experiments/Petri dish

They suffer, often badly from political acts
3/. None more so in the U.K. than Brexit when the poorest are being placed most at risk not least because of the “success” of your “political” experiments where you engaged their fears to persuade them to vote

Having “invested” £800k in the Leave campaign’s to reap a 275% profit from shorting the £, Odey has taken out £299m in “short” positions on 16 UK listed firms —

Just £10k donation to Johnson

Wace has followed suit taken “short” positions on 47 companies worth £1.14bn.

 Odey has increased its “short” position on 6 of them since May announced her resignation in May.
On the day Johnson was elected leader of the Tory party, Odey’s firm increased its “short” position in Metro Bank.

It currently has a £17.6m bet against the company.
3/. Odey had a financial interest as a member of Rees-Mogg’s Somerset Capital until just before the referendum (March 2016, indeed JRM had worked for him, regarding Odey as a mentor.

Wace, meanwhile, like JRM, has set up offices in Dublin.

I talked to business lobby groups, Stephen Kelly from @ManufacturingNI fresh back from talks with Barnier. And bosses of big companies.

- all-UK in a temporary customs Union
- Northern Ireland only in Single Market for goods, via devolution
- no checks GB-NI

Part 5: **Balance in Brexit reporting**

Which outlets are more positive about #Brexit, and which are more negative?
Running the numbers, it seems that the BBC's articles are most likely to skew positive about Brexit, while the Independent is the most negative.

In the middle, the Guardian and the Mail (the latter possibly due to MoS vs DM stances).
So, how did I reach this conclusion? Readers of previous threads will know that I’ve been analysing the headlines of 2,000 Brexit articles and body text of 1300 items published since Jan 2018.

THREAD (1) When the likes of Hannan feel the need to 'brush off' something so critical to the right-wing/neo-con #Brexit wet dream, we find digging a little deeper to be useful. After all, ground breaking 'shadow trade deals' with right-wing US think tanks is no small fish.
(2) In fact, given the growing negativity surrounding the #Brexit negotiations, compounded by the Govts' own damning economic analysis, one would have thought Hannan and Fox et al, would be shouting from the roof tops about their bespoke 'shadow US-UK trade deal.' Wouldn't you?
(3) The problem for our intrepid trade deal making duo, as almost always, is to be found in the detail; just what are, and who is, behind these neo-con US think tanks? Perhaps Daniel would enlighten us?
