Centrists are warnin a VoNC is not guaranteed to pass, w/ Jess Phillips et al openly saying they wont support it. If they don't, they'll enable BJ to take us out on WTO, then the great brexit distraction will finally be over. 1/

If the unthinkable happens & we do leave with no deal on the 31st Oct, Brexit Party instantly becomes redundant, Lib Dems lose their only selling point & a great many Tory voters will abandon their party since the only reason they had left to vote for them will be behind us. 2/
With the political spaghetti junction that is brexit out of the way, we return to domestic issues, and none of the other parties have even a scintilla of a solution to those pressing issues the public are concerned about. In a post brexit general election, Corbyn is unleashed. 3/
The 5th column would lose one of their 2 lines of attack - remain (the other, antisemitism, is a busted flush). Their agitation for a 2nd ref would be history & Labour's manifesto would take centre stage. JC could finally open it up to unrestrained investment & state aid. 4/
In fact, Corbyn would surely have an easier route to No 10 post brexit than if an election were to come before we leave, so why centrists think that refusing to back his VoNC would hurt him is a mystery. Are they just really crap at strategising? Well, yes. They are. 5/
Answers on a postcard re what centrists think they can do to stop brexit & JC at the same time if a VoNC fails. If they try to create a 'National Unity Gov' that is bound to fail too, the public dont like democracy being manipulated. Their arrogance will be their downfall. 6/
