I've been waiting a long time to do this.
Here goes, starting with the key #PMF question...
It's a copy of the one we are currently running for @usefyi
hnshah.typeform.com/to/Sgqipf
This is the only multiple choice question on the #PMF survey.
@SeanEllis's says that you have product/market fit if 40% or more of the respondents choose "Very disappointed".
This main question on the #PMF survey will help you learn what people who you have product/market fit have to say vs. those who you don't have fit with have to say.
This is an open-ended field in the survey right after the key product/market fit question. Once segmented, the responses tell you in people's own words why some people love your product and why others don't.
This question provides a useful way to understand how your customers perceive the market you are in. You might learn that the products you consider alternatives aren't the same as what customers think.
Marketers, this one is for you. Responses to this question will tell you the exact words that people use to describe the benefits of your product. Use the segmented "very disappointed" responses to improve your copy.
Asking people this question helps validate or invalidate your own hypothesis about who your best customers are. You might learn that you were wrong about who your target customer actually is.
This yes/no question itself is not as important as the open-ended field that shows if people say "Yes"...
Please explain how you described it.
The responses will inspire ideas for your ads and better marketing copy on your website.
When this question is segmented by people who'd be "very disappointed" vs. other respondents you'll learn what improvements you can make for people who already love your product and ones who don't yet.
