1. After Charlottesville, I had a clear impression from the Trump administration @Twitter behavior that they had organized the march or at least had a role in it. So on August 13, 2017, the day following Heather Heyer's murder, I send an email FOIA request to the @WhiteHouse

2. Attn to Office of Legal Counsel but misdirected it to a drug policy office I later learned was one of the few White House elements that you can FOIA. I got an immediate response saying that the Office of National Drug Control Policy had no responsive records. Not a big shock.

3. Text of my request:

This is a Freedom of Information Act Request (“FOIA”) for any and all documents, that includes all forms of written or recorded communication, in which either of these persons or entities was a party to the communication whether directly

4. or by virtue of a subordinate:

President Donald J. Trump; Stephen K. Bannon; Sebastian Gorka; Stephen Miller;

That in any way refer and/or relate to Charlottesville Virginia and the following events:

The torch rally held on Friday August 11, 2017 at the campus

5. of the University of Virginia; The rally held in Charlottesville VA on Saturday August 12, 2017.

The Time Period for these Documents is from January 20, 2017 to August 13, 2017. In particular I am seeking documents related to the Whitehouse or its staff in any way

6. addressing the above rallies in the period prior to the rallies being held on August 11 and 12 respectively. I suspect that the Whitehouse and its staff had a role in the rallies.

7. I am copying the FBI FOIA officer to advise the FBI of my request due to the fact that the information may involve commission of a Federal crime that may be ongoing and request that this request be made known to Robert Mueller or his staff if appropriate.
