Exclusive:

Boris Johnson is drawing up plans for a bailout fund that will prop up businesses in event of no-deal

He will hold discussions on plans - dubbed Operation Kingfisher - next week in Brexit war cabinet as part of plans to stop otherwise viable companies going bust
Under Operation Kingfisher the Government has drawn up a secret list of companies that are most at risk in the event of a no-deal Brexit - predominantly in manufacturing and construction

Plans originally drawn up by Theresa May's govt but are now being ramped up
Michael Gove referred to Operation Kingfisher publicly for the first time today:

'It will be there... so that fundamentally viable businesses that may have the occasional cash flow or other issue can be supported'
It's particularly interesting to see Gove speaking publicly about Operation Kingfisher

Under Theresa May, the plans were kept under lock and key until @mrharrycole heard about them

They're now being openly discussed - it's a change of approach towards greater transparency
