Sad to see that @Examinecom has gotten hammered by Google algorithm updates - examine.com/nutrition/goog…

For the first time ever, in the last year, I feel like Google's search results have been getting worse and I've started using @DuckDuckGo more and more

I assume this is linked to antitrust threats.
It seems like Google is pursuing The Antitrust equivalent of "Nobody Ever Got Fired for Buying IBM"

Something like "Nobody ever got broken up for ranking WebMD and Healthline" (even though the information quality is awful)
@Examinecom shows up as #3 on @DuckDuckGo for me but invisible on Google.

1/ Claude Shannon, the developer of information theory, was also an exceptional investor, averaging 28% annually in his lifetime.

He was able to do that in large part because of a key insight he had called Shannon's Demon.

Here's how it works:
2/ He developed an investment strategy for a portfolio that was 50% in a stock whose price moves in a completely random manner (a “random walk”) with an expected return of 0 and 50% cash.

The portfolio is then rebalanced daily back to the original 50/50 allocation.
3/ Despite both pieces of the portfolio having a return of zero at the end of the simulation, the rebalanced portfolio had a positive return.

Has anyone figured out a solution to identify people on your email list that are opening emails but using pixel blockers so it's not tracked?
I generally remove people if they haven't opened an email in a few months b/c I don't want to spam them and it's bad for overall deliverability.
But finding more and more people are using pixel blockers for privacy reasons (which makes total sense) so I am removing active people and they are annoyed...

1) Don’t Put More than Four People Onstage

I know you’re under pressure from marketing. I know you need to feature the sponsor. I know you don’t want to axe the one speaker with something to say.

But if you have over three panelists, there won't be a real conversation. Don’t.
2) Keep Introductions to a Minimum

Don't have someone introduce someone who introduces someone else. And never take more than 20 seconds for any single intro.

Much of the audience will already know who’s onstage. And everyone else can consult the program, or the internet.
