New data from one of Brazil's largest firms shows Bolsonaro's approval rating continuing to fall & disapproval rising among almost all groups - including his own voters: 1/4 of whom say they regret voting for him & wouldn't do it again. By far the worst of any 1st-year President:
Bolsonaro no longer has a majority of approval among any group - the only two where he comes close are self-identified "business people" & Neo-charismatic evangelicals. The groups that most disapprove include women, black people, the unemployed & the rich: www1.folha.uol.com.br/poder/2019/09/…

Jair Bolsonaro wants to nominate his son to be Ambassador to US. To say he has no qualifications is an understatement. When asked why, his dad said he speaks English & wants to live in US. The son is in DC, met with Trump, & a US official said he couldn't understand his English:
Because Eduardo's painfully poor English was making conversation impossible, the US official suggested they talk in Spanish, but Eduardo couldn't do that either. Here he is with Lou Dobbs; judge for yourself his facility with English: what his dad touts as his diplomatic asset.

The DOJ's Inspector General issues its report concluding that James "Ethical Leadership" @Comey "violated Department and FBI policies, and his FBI Employment Agreement." This likely means his hiring by @CNN is imminent: that's what they look for: oig.justice.gov/reports/2019/o…
@Comey @CNN Part of Comey's wrongdoing, according to the Inspector General, was leaking sensitive investigative FBI information about Trump/Russia to the New York Times, which both FBI regulations and his own agreement barred him from leaking.
@Comey @CNN Even senior members of Comey's own leadership team were "shocked" and "stunned" and "disappointed" when they learned of Comey's misconduct and improper leaking. Time for a sequel to "Ethical Leadership." Let the bidding war between MSNBC & CNN commence:

Brazil already has the highest rate of indigenous murders in the world, and Bolsonaro has repeatedly attacked them in hate speech sg.news.yahoo.com/fears-amazon-b…

There are some pointing to Brazil's relatively robust institutions, suggesting Bolsonaro won't be able to legislate to push through some of his most damaging pledges. But he doesn't need to change the law to ruin the environment.

UCC had opportunity to comment on the #Data.Protection & Privacy Bill. The enactment of this law is long overdue. A comprehensive law on the collection & processing personal information gives effect to the right to Privacy envisaged under Article 27(2) of the Constitution
UCC welcome the protections offered by the Bill in terms of export of data, breach notification requirements, data subjects access rights, automated decision making, compensation and the right to be forgotten and provision for financial and penal sanctions for breach of the law.
Distinction between Data collectors & data controllers.
The Bill should however clarify & distinguish Data Collectors, from Data Processors & Data Controllers. Clause 2 is inconsistent with international good practice which provides for two broad categories of Data Controllers
