I'm afraid I totally understand the establishment focus on the #muellerreport. It wasn't only meant to be a distraction: it served another insidious purpose. It kept us divided and from focusing on what's important.
What's important is that the duopoly has way more control than it should. This sham of a report just allowed them to weaken the paid opposition: @TheDemocrats. After the midterms, the GOP (also the paid opposition) was feeling a little weak.
Focusing on the sham report weakens the Democrats so that there's less opposition to Trump in the ways that help America. If the Democrats wanted to impeach Trump, they didn't need the #MuellerReport. All they had to do it focus on his business dealings while in office.

@tonetalks and @BreakingBrown, I've read your points about a #BlackAgenda and to be honest, I disagree with money of the points. As an #ADOS myself, there's a lot to benefit personally and for my family. I do have issues with how you dismiss a general progressive agenda.

First plank: A specific affirmative action program for #ADOS. I have no arguments there as we know affirmative action helped white women more than anyone. We do need specific help in educational and job opportunities.

I'm sure I mentioned this before but after reading an article about @SenSanders, it made me want to talk about this again, perhaps from a different focus. As much as we know policy means everything, it's often hard to connect with people using it.
People are often emotionally driven. That means to connect with them, you have to make them feel something. This is where the battleground is. There's 2 strong emotions that drive people: fear and hope.
Fear drives people to run or fight against something because of negative thoughts of change. That's why conservative messaging works so well: it's a well thought out emotional barrage of fear porn. Unfortunately, Democrats also use this against us as well.

Hope German car finally stops dragging its feet and gets in on the act of building EVs before it loses out to China. I've been saying this for 5-10 years but maybe this @WSJ article is a more influential wake-up call.
It's not a done deal but I'm really worried. (short thread).
First the bad news: at the moment German carmakers like @VWGroup (VW, Porsche, Audi), @BMW and @Daimler (Mercedes) are missing in action. There are 6 carmakers you've probably never heard of that outsell all of them.
Also: the economic impact of getting this wrong will be catastrophic for Germany and the EU.

Ceux qui clamaient qu’après #metoo les femmes domineraient le monde ou assurent qu’avec les quotas il devient impossible pour un homme d’exister se seraient donc trompé ? ;)
2/ Plus sérieusement, ce constat doit interpeller !
Est-ce à dire que les Français seraient juste sexistes et préféreraient unanimement les hommes aux femmes ? Je ne le crois pas.
En revanche, la sous-médiatisation des femmes est une réalité.
3/ Car pour « préférer » encore faut-il connaître.
Si on prend pas exemple les sportifs, nombreux dans le top. Les sportifs sont bien + médiatisés que les sportives.

Okay, let's jump in with part 2 of my #aspects in #astrology mega thread. Yesterday I spoke about aspects being visual relationships between planets, and that visual connection is what makes them "work," conceptually. We don't actually know what the mechanism is.
The mechanism by which astrology works is NOT SOMETHING I AM TALKING ABOUT TODAY PLEASE & THANK, I'm much more interested in digging into the ways in which the glances that the planets ping back and forth to one another in the heavens manifest.
Remember from everything I said last night: each planet casts seven glances, or aspects. A planet can observe anything where one of its glances falls in the Zodiac, as well as the sign it is in at the time. So each planet can behold eight spots.

(THREAD) 1. MEET Estela and Nicolas. Today they got married. For anyone else this would be just a picture of a normal wedding day, but for these two, there is much more than meets the eye. For them, this is a story of the triumph of love and hope.
2. 3 weeks ago I was approached by someone at my parish.
-“Father, there is a couple who wants to get married.”
-“I am glad to hear that. Tell them to call me & we will set up a meeting.”
-“Well” she said, “this is the thing. They are in the hospital. Could you come please?”
3. I went to visit them, only to find out that Estela, a beautiful 26 year old woman, had cancer that spread all over her body. Doctors give her a limited time of life. I saw her husband to be, by her side, with a sad smile in his eyes, asking me for hope and a miracle.
