Looking at the mass outbreak of rationality across the HOC (to an extent - it's all relative) I wonder if Brexit having forced antagonists to work together, properly together, has made them realise that they have much more in common than with the frootloops steering the ship.
(I don't mean their politics or world views.) I just mean they've been forced to spend time with each other & really listen. And they now understand it's possible to have real dialogue with people you fundamentally disagree with on many things. They're not the country wreckers.
It's slim pickings, but that may turn out to be the only positive that comes out of Brexit.
Politics needs to become about cooperation. Doesn't matter if a policy originated with the Tories, Labour, Libdems, Greens, whoever... if it is objectively good for the country it deserves at least a hearing, rather than being dismissed because "it's one of theirs" [spit!]
