The difference between Trump’s usual grifting and @NatashaBertrand’s exposé is that he usually hides his grifting by shouting it (openly promoting Doral for G-7, spending all his time in his own properties, etc). This time he was exposed. They were trying to hide this.
Of course @Fahrenthold has also exposed a lot of Trump’s corruption (Trump Foundation). Again, are only cases they’ve acted on it, because they were exposed. Trump’s modus operandi is to hang a lantern on his own corruption, to make it seem normal.
Every Mexican, used to big corruption among our politicians, is scratching their head at the petty sums for which Trump has sold the entire moral standing of the USA.
