@IkejaElectric has decided to make installing #prepaidmeter a pain. So let me tell you my experience till this moment I am typing this. I hope @NERCNG @PulseNigeria247
Will see this and help me
#Thread
The agents from Conlog solutions which is responsible for installing prepaid meters for @IkejaElectric successfully installed the meter on the 23rd of August 2019. I was happy that I was free for the excessive charges from my guys. I could almost give a testimony
Fast forward to a week later, I decided to recharge my prepaid meter from my #bankapp because I didnt want to run out of the 100units that came with the meter. But to the delight of @IkejaElectric it wasn't possible. It kept saying there was no meter number like that.
I went to #IKEDC office in my Akute and was told I need to go to Jankara where their office is. Why can't you handle it here? I asked the marketer in charge of my location. Apparently, they are not enabled to do that. Only to cut light and make us shout are they given the power.
I opted to calling @IkejaElectric because they have email address and phone numbers on the post paid bills they bring. So I gave it to them to have a functional system. I have called and mailed them from that day till Friday and guess what, they are always escalating the matter.
The #100unit that came with the prepaid meter just got exhausted yesterday and I am officially with "NEPA" light. After wasting airtime and data, they want me to end in their office. Imagine I used 100 units for 17days and they last bill they brought me was over 10k.
How does a company refuse to set all parameters in place just because they want to stress citizens. We paid for this meter oh. How will they tell me that Conlog didn't register the meter and I have to go and register the meter in their office. And sending emails and calls isn't
sufficient to get the activation code for my prepaid meter. After paying 38,850 nairq for a single phase meter, why did I have to pay 7k to the Conlog guys to buy wire and rent ladder to install my meter and still have to be without light. Please who has go through this trauma?
@MobilePunch come and see people that want to give Nigeria a bar name. We keep complaining about government . This has nothing to do with government and we have just refused to make things work for our selves. @IkejaElectric is one of them. @NERCNG has to look into this.
