What are the most interesting tools for mobile, on-the-go note-taking and retrieval?

These smart glasses from @focalsbynorth with @evernote integration seem cool, but I think the tech is still too early

Hey Siri has made huge strides the last couple years and is now very reliable for quick audio notes. Though it often ends the note too soon so it’s best for one sentence captures
There’s a move toward notes apps that are focused on or completely dedicated to quick capture, such as opening by default in a new note like @1writerapp
I’ve found that using messaging/communication apps for note-taking is one of the most common methods that no one realizes everyone else does. Emailing things to yourself is the classic one, but a pinned WhatsApp group-of-one is a clever one
Here's an example of using @IFTTT to automate emailing yourself a note. Isn't really faster than just opening a notes app but could be useful if you like processing notes in email
The widget feature on iOS and notification drawer on Android provide a way to add or search for notes without having to open the app, or even unlocking the phone. iOS instructions: help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/artic…
