Is now a good time to remind UK people about surveillance laws? The old ones already allowed so much the "bloody autocratic EU Court" ruled them illegal.
(A case brought by "unpatriotic EU collaborator"... Brexit minister David Davis -before he flipped)

The new 2016 version of mass surveillance law was also ruled illegal -as violating human rights.

So now, as stated, "The UK may be forced to scale back its digital mass surveillance schemes after a court ruled that its current powers are unlawful"...
Or new govt will go for "Unlawful is the New Lawful" -as that's how they won/intend to win for ever.

Probably that's enough for one day, I'll keep the concerns about the way UK elections are handled (involvement of unscrutinisable private providers with potential vested interest, software and their glitches, data leaks) for another day.
(That and it takes 7 -sourced- pages.)
It does raise a few questions about whether the Will of the People indeed is the Will of the People though.
I dare you to prove me wrong.

I assume then that she'll lobby for FoM w/ other "Commonwealth family" ctry?
You know, to "stop the discrimination", as she said on BeLeave's campaign blog?
Although -for whatever reason- I can't help thinking she may not campaign for FoM with *all* countries of the "Commonwealth family"...

2/ individuals to DOJ/FBI, one of whom ADMITTED he lied when he accused Kavanaugh & Mark Judge of raping woman on his boat, two others were ones whom everyone agrees lied, i.e. @MichaelAvenatti & Julie Swetnick. @LindseyGrahamSC demanded briefing by FBI on arrest of Roger Stone
3/ and rightly so. BUT he needs to do same with these accuser. Further, Graham must follow-up on the two additional matters Grassley already started: Evidence that Ford lied when she said she had not helped anyone w/ polygraph & evidence that Ford's buddy McLean pressured

There's a lot of misinformation around the #surveillance notification that came out yesterday. Here's #thread that will help clarify issues.
Is the notification new? Obviously, yes. But is the issue new? Not at all. What the Modi Govt did was only take the next logical step in am existing law.
So what was the law. This is where it gets interesting. The surveillance laws come out of an 18th century postal act that gives powers to intercept communications of correspondents during war.

Judge clearly wants to know why after the interview, the agents tell Comy Flynn didn't lie to them, showed no signs of deception, which Comey told Congress in his own testimony, and then SEVEN MONTHS LATER a report gets filed alleging perjury.

Flynn is being told to sumbit the the originals of the documents referenced in his filing yesterday [or copies, if all he got were copies], and at the same time, the gov't lawyers - Mueller's team - are being ordered to submit the gov'ts version of these docs.
The originals and the copies, they had BETTER match each other....
