Since Johnson took office you've passed more laws than he has. If you call an election you risk GIVING the Tories power.
You also risk repeating the democratic failure of 2017 where the majority vote for anti-no-deal parties but no-deal parties get more seats.

There's a majority against No-Deal in the Parliament now, which leaves only Deal & Stay.
The logical way to decide between them is a referendum.
The Tories are calling you a coward for not calling an election... True cowardice would be to let their taunting manipulate your pride.

You don't want to be the Labour leader who led a majority in Parliament then, due to personal pride and a failure to understand the reality of First-Past-the-Post, handed a majority to the Tories to let them trash the country via an election where the majority vote against them.

So, Jeremy Corbyn, in light of the above, if a general election happens before a referendum, I will perceive it as a cynical attempt by you to transfer power to the Tories so that when Boris Johnson delivers a No-Deal Brexit the Tories get all the blame for the national disaster.

I will hold you, @NicolaSturgeon & @JoSwinson personally responsible for the damage of no-deal if you give up the majority you now command because you can't agree on who gets to be temporary PM and call an ill-timed election, when what we need NOW is a referendum ON THE DEAL.

So to be honest: F*** Party Conferences!
Now is when MPs from ALL parties should work together. Every MP who sees what a disaster No-Deal is for the people you have a duty to protect should be coming together in a temp government, not retreating to away weekends with the members.
