The @RemainerNow team were at #LDConf for a few days we had a stand and an event. The idea was to raise awareness amongst activists but also meet/chat to parliamentarians so they could learn more about us & how we could help them & anti-brexit colleagues.

First here are the parliamentarians we met on the exhibition stand we had. They came and talked to us about our campaign & how they can help, they heard #RemainerNow stories, saw some video content and collected handouts and our new business cards.

Tim Farron, David Cameron, this really is a weekend for the memories.
Seeing Farron address the Lib Dem conference is helpful for the party. It reminds them of how woeful their fortunes were when he was leading them (not entirely his fault) and how far, in such a short time, they've come. #LDConf

There are quite a lot of interesting things we have seen in the new national youth policy, the most interesting will be the youth age definition from 18 - 35 years in the previous policy to 15 - 29 years in the new policy #youth #Policy #YouthPolicyNaija
However, there are lots of other interesting things. The policy in itself is very ambitious for the next five years in terms of why it hopes to achieve, one of such is bursaries to 100k eligible STEM undergrads in 5 years #YouthPolicyNaija

As a committed labour activist I feel like I have to comment on some recent articles that Corbyn and the Labour leadership team have posted in the last few days about Brexit. I’m really upset and I feel like I need to say something.
I have been a Labour supporter all my life. From as early as I can remember I wanted to be head of school council and I encouraged fellow classmates in school to vote Labour. Despite the fact we were 10. (Every vote counts right?!) 😂
I’ve been a Labour Party member since I was 18 and proudly carry my membership card wherever I go. In May I campaigned in Plymouth for the local council elections. I, like so many other young people put my life on hold to campaign for the Labour.

1) Attended a whole bunch of Board meetings this week on both coasts. Sharing some quick observations on what I typically see work well at Board meetings.
2) Board meetings should be held at company offices IMO. Let Board members see, touch, feel, your products...let them mingle with some team members, help them understand company’s culture, and share in the excitement.
3) Share Board decks etc in advance, at least 3-4 days. Set expectations that people come prepared and having studied the materials. Board meeting is not a time for reporting on activity...but to discuss, ideate, debate, decide.
