No @BernieSanders, Nicolás Maduro is not a "vicious tyrant"; he's a democratically elected president, facing a violent rightwing opposition working with a foreign superpower to try to overthrow him

In the US "democracy" they'd be executed for treason. In Venezuela they walk free
.@BernieSanders has, importantly, spoken against the Sep. 11, 1973 US coup against Chile's democratically elected socialist gov.

Venezuela follows in that same tradition of actually existing democratic socialism. And the capitalist US empire has tried to overthrow it from day 1.
Ironically, if @BernieSanders manages to win the extremely difficult uphill battle that is the election in corporate-controlled USA, he'll face the same capitalists and intelligence agencies that overthrew Allende and are trying to topple Maduro. They won't let him govern either.
