This guy gets it.

Excellent thread detailing the Finkelstein Method’s impact on Canadian politics.

If you’re emotionally charged this election, you’ve fallen victim to provocation and disinformation. You’ve lost your ability to think critically and rationally.
We don’t need to agree about every detail. Don’t even need to be on the same side of the political spectrum. We just need to be objective in our assessment of leadership and stop the tribalism.

There is one planet. The vast majority of us haven’t resigned ourselves to oblivion.
Who is in the best position to protect human rights in Canada, engage globally to protect Canadian sovereignty and national security through trade and NATO alliance, can access the expertise and knowledge to inform policy, and governs for all Canadians, not just his tribe?
There is only one leader who fits that description in Canadian politics.

Every other party is narrowly focussed on their own self interests and achieving their own ideological victory.
Democracy is cooperation and compromise. Not forced compliance through policy legislation or a minority govt.

It’s messy, frustrating, difficult and time consuming to get enough buy in from the voters at various stake outs on the political spectrum to move forward.
But it’s the only method that is long lasting and beneficial for most in a society.

You won’t get everything you want ideologically from any political party. It’s an extremist or ideologue who believes there is only room for their beliefs and values to be represented.
Intentional provocation has driven a wedge in political discourse. Entrenched beliefs and triggered survivalist emotional engagement.

If you are adamant that only your ideology will work for all, you’ve been manipulated and have joined the extremists of the world.
There are no absolutes in democratic politics. Everything is negotiable. We have “progressive” leaders willing to barter human rights for Proportional Representation. Longing for political validation by gaining a few extra seats.
Willing to concede abortion access, LGBTQ rights, and equality of POC and immigrants for a chance at increasing their party’s power base. Claiming a climate emergency and the end of life on this planet is imminent.

That’s called fear mongering. Not democracy.
We have another party claiming all is wrong economically. Every indicator points to the opposite. Dangling the carrot of extra cash in your pocket but leaving out how that’s accomplished. By cutting services. That extra cash won’t have the purchasing power of the many.
It’s a scam. The wealthy can afford to purchase private programs and services. The average Canadian will be significantly less able to access healthcare, education. All that extra cash in your pocket, plus more will be required to replace public services. It’s gaslighting.
Finally we have extreme nationalists. A party created to give the false impression that there are only 2-3% of voters who support extreme nationalism. Sorry, but that’s a ruse, a grift. Meant to make the real monsters seem moderate in comparison.
The kamikaze party. Aiming to divide the nation by providing extremist rhetoric, similar but far more malevolent and openly toxic than the other right wing party. Except they are the same party. It’s just an illusion that they are separate. All their policies are identical.
And finally a party with a leader with vision and a proven track record. All true leaders are adamantly opposed by those working to prevent progress. Their power to lead scares those who want control to suit their own agenda.
Look at every effective leader globally throughout history. MLK, JFK, FDR, PET, Tommy Douglas, Rachel Notley. All vilified for their effective leadership. Attacked personally because their power to lead was superior to those who opposed the direction they were leading.
Everyone with death threats, attempted coups, character assassinations. Some were assassinated. Some are still being attacked viciously. Always from the right and false envious ambitious progressives.
The level of animus alone should inform the observant voter that JT is someone special. He also has many true leaders in his party. Working to build a Canada that meets most of the needs of most of the citizens. Using cooperation and compromise. Not force and dictates.
If you are so morally opposed to JT or any of the political LPC leaders, ask yourself why. Is it the socks, the popular charisma and confidence, the calm and seemingly unruffled approach to rhetoric. Are you jealous or are the policies out of line with your beliefs system.
If you focus on the rhetoric of the opposing parties, you’ll find it isn’t the LPC policies that opposition is focussing on. It’s personal characteristics. Every accusation is meant to plant doubt in JT’s authenticity as an effective leader.
Greens and NDP label JT as corporate focussed and compromised. Unwilling to implement climate action. CPC and PPC label JT as the harbinger of doom for the FF industry. Both can’t be true.

PMJT is working to meet the economic and human rights needs of every Canadian.
Compromising to achieve a solution that meets the needs of most Canadians. Negotiating a compromise and soliciting cooperation. The very foundation of democracy.
But the electorate is so emotionally charged and entrenched in their beliefs and values, due to provocation from opposition leaders, they cant see the forest through the trees.

Only their version of policy is acceptable. No concessions. Black or white.
United we stand.

Divided we fall.

Are you part of the problem or part of the solution? Only you can answer that question. Use your vote wisely. It’s your voice. Your political power. Use it to #ChooseForward
