German prosecutors using the German equivalent of RICO against Deutsche Bank and it's partners in a tax fraud scandal!

It's organized crime partners are quite an interesting list!

Who are their 'partners in crime'? At least 20 companies including Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan, Chase & Co., Bank of America, Merrill Lynch.

One of Deutsche Bank's former traders was charged last month with crimes committed almost a decade ago. Illegally trading carbon credits for VAT tax credits. They would sell them back & forth, claiming the VAT tax credit for this scam.

Efforts to give Deutsche Bank a slap on the wrist & move on in 2016, seem to have failed with renewed prosecutions treating their employees as a "criminal gang" the way US law treats racketeering influenced & corrupt organizations under RICO.

Last month prosecutors served warrants targeting customers & employees of Deutsche Boerse an exchange operator that handles trades of shares in companies.

Assisting a bunch of banks & hedge funds to rig fake trades of company shares, so that both sides of the deal can claim tax credits, due to one company (if they are even legit).
This one scam cost Germany 11B Euros in overpaid tax credits from 2007-2011. Finally being prosecuted!
