@TheScotsman Worth noting that the House Oversight Committee disclosure via the Pentagon also confirms the vast amounts of money being spent by the US military on refuelling at Prestwick Airport, as I revealed in @TheScotsman back in June. More to come on this story: scotsman.com/news/politics/…
@TheScotsman I should add that the existing US DoD Defence Logistics Agency deal with Prestwick allows for refuelling payments totalling £16.9m - that's around $21.1m. The spending by the Pentagon could well go up another few million $ - and that's *before* the new DLA deal thru 2024 begins.
