Scrum is a pen and paper RPG:

- You get together with your group every week or two to figure out what happens next

- The difficulty of a task/monster is measured in points, and the group is very bad at estimating them

- The PM's prep is wasted when the plot goes off the rails
PM: Alright, so the next thing on the roadmap is Project Unicorn...

Designer: My persona is not interested in this adventure

PM: Uhh, but the quest givers, I mean stakeholders...

Developer: Hey, stop railroading us!
User researcher: It's time to talk to the villagers to understand what they need our help with.

Growth hacker: Can't we just rob them? My stealing skill is really high.

User researcher: No! Just go talk to them.

UX/UI Designer: I didn't put any points into that skill.
And of course, just like software development, unless you are tracking your experience points metric, you can never be sure that you're making meaningful progress!
User research reports are like character backstories, because nobody reads them either.
The backlog is sorted according to the initiative order, which is to say - at random.

Powerful wizards from the Business school of magic can rearrange this order at whim, which makes all other players call BS on this overpowered ability.
