Seumas Milne has stayed publicly silent on Syria since joining the Labour leadership, but in a private conversations at an event in London, he expressed public support for the Russian military campaign in Syria.

The hostility, slander and aggression journalists have faced for trying to report fairly and accurately on the Labour leadership's position on Syria has been extreme, but Fisher's resignation letter exposes their lies and confirms their pro-Kremlin bias for what it is.
Seumas Milne is not the only senior Corbyn aide to back the Assad/Putin/Khameini axis in Syria, as Andrew Murray also explicitly called for the British government to assist the Assad regime's troops fighting against ISIS
