/ Ever since posting this tweet, our inbox has been flooded with tales of VCs and incubators acting in bad faith against the interest of founders & companies.

Although most VCs operate with integrity, there are occasionally outliers. Here are a few that can be shared:
/ An impact investing VC intentionally destroying follow on rounds in a company to displace the founding CEO
/ A major VC firm facilitating a partnership between two of their portfolio companies to boost the acquisition value of one of them at the expense of the other
/ VC startup studios being actively hostile to founders (pushing out founders after founding or squeezing them out to have a tiny amount of equity)
/ Frustratingly some VCs continue to try the "meeting or date — what's the difference really?" card 🙄
/ Again, the vast majority of VCs operate with integrity and there only a a few outliers but it is a good reminder for founders to always reference check their investors (even if the VC/firm has a good public reputation)
