38k is not rich in America, but it is a respectable income in much of the country. Most people in the country have a standard of living that is far above that of the overwhelming majority of the rest of the world. That’s because of the economic system that @aoc wants to destroy.
To be fair, if we actually started implementing @AOC ‘s policies, which would inevitably result in hyperinflation, 38K might not be enough to buy a week’s worth of food in a few years.
