The biggest recruitment factor for Islamic State is Islamophobia.

In 2007, I applied for a job as counterterrorism advisor for a major police authority in the UK.

I got laughed at by the interview panel for saying far-right extremism would lead to a terrorism threat. Not funny.

Radical Islamophobes and Islamic State both read the Koran literally.

They think that Muslims must obey every part of it or else.

Also they don't really read it. They just cherry pick and read the parts that justify extreme medieval violence.

It's why he's become an enemy of the CIA.

Since 9/11, the CIA have twisted themselves into a pretzel for trying to distance themselves from the Arab Afghans and Osama bin Laden.

Why? Because MI6, and CIA operative like Milt Bearden and Robert Gates wanted to expand the conflict on the orders of Director Bill Casey.
