When wasn’t it, exactly? under Theresa May, one of her predecessors as Home Secretary? Or Sajid Javid, now Chancellor?
Seems especially tough on May and Cameron given it wasn’t under their premierships that the Conservative Party flirted with disobeying the law...

NEW: I understand that Special Constables in Derbyshire Police have been asked for their availability to fill in for regular police officers between 24th October and 15th November. Am told it's in case regulars are needed to deal with social unrest created by Brexit.
Leave for regular officers had been cancelled for this period all ready. Suspect similar measures being taken in other forces. Source tells me specials being asked to fill in for regulars in this way is very unusual.

No longer wanted in Downing St: a ditch
The potential latest in a long series of constitutional climbdowns from the govt.
As I wrote yesterday the EU is certain an extension is coming with elections soon afterwards. Given Johnson’s proposals are so suboptimal for them, even compared to May’s deal, there is every incentive for them to sit, wait and bide their time.

I suspect this will cause a lot of excitement today but end with little more than a whimper.

Stewart voted for Brexit. Three times. He still wants a deal.

He now wants to be Mayor of London.

This will damage Shaun Bailey’s campaign a bit but in the current climate, the chances of a Conservative winning London are extremely slim anyway. Many talk of Boris Johnson’s electoral stardust in winning the city. Maybe- but he wouldn’t win now.
Also, difficult to see what Stewart’s brand of moderate centrism finds as its enemy in the London race. There’s no Johnson boogy man to run against. Khan is hardly an extreme Corbynista. What exactly does he run on?

Today is the Jayanti of Tanguturi Prakasam Pantulu, freedom fighter, first Chief Minister of newly created Andhra state, known as Andhra Kesari for his open defiance against the British rule, a towering personality.
Prakasam Pantulu was born in a small village, Vinodarayanipalem, in the Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh,to a pious Niyogi Brahmin couple, Subamma and Gopala Krishnayya on August 23, 1872.
His father was a Karanam of the village, and since his ancestors hailed from Tanguturu, a small town in Prakasam district, that became their surname. His father however passed away when Prakasam was just 11, leaving the family burden on his mother’s shoulders.

He checks the bathroom but there is no sign of the younger.

Failing to have his call picked up,
he sends a text and starts to feel anxious.

Did Kyungsoo run away?

He opens the closet and finds their bags with their wallets inside. It means the other only has his phone with him.

And he's not answering any calls and texts.

He's seriously getting worried.
If before, he could contact his cousin and ask of his whereabouts, right now he doesn't have anyone to turn to.

Just then the door opens, revealing a drenched Kyungsoo. The younger just stands there, at the doorway with a bashful smile.

"What happened to you? Why are you wet?"

Today's edition of "What Happened" by Cankles is about 100 pages of analysis vs. the normal 75 because we're into the heart of the campaign and her non-policy prescriptions. So here we go:
1) On 226 she admits "I didn't expect Bernie to catch on as much as he did." Nothing suggested "a Socialist from Vermont could mount a credible campaign for the White House."

Aside from Zero's two successful campaigns, you mean?
2) Bernie, she warned, had the advantage with "white, liberal bastions of Iowa and New Hampshire." So once again, Cankles blames white people.

Bernie (226) "didn't seem to mind if his math didn't add up"

In other words like all Socialist programs everywhere.
