Reports frm TN say that Appavu who contested n 2016 assembly polls frm Radhapuram & was declared defeated by ADMK candidate Inbadurai by 49 votes has in fact secured more votes(93 votes) than Inbadurai n recounting ordered by HC yesterday;SC has stayed the declaration of results!
A person who actually won the election was declared defeated in connivance with the election officials and he had to go through a long legal battle for 4 years for recounting of votes.
This is a classic example for how the election officials work hand in glove with ruling party.

Heard frm a ‘well-connected’ person that “in 2016 assembly elections,post noon a direction was issued to the officials n election duty to announce the results n favour of the ruling party (ADMK) where there was a close contest”.
