India is a young country with more than 65% of the population being under the age of 35. By 2030 India’s dependence ratio is going to reach 0.4 which may not be a problem to the ones on top or in the middle of the pyramid but will surely be

problem for the ones at the bottom of it. To tackle this nationwide problem, on the occasion of Dusshera we are launching our campaign *#GareebiGoodBye* taking the first significant step towards bringing people permanently out of poverty and spreading financial literacy.

Through this campaign we aim to educate the underprivileged how they can help themselves come out of poverty by opening their PPF accounts.
*Why PPF*
The PPF is one of the most secured investments in India backed by the central government.

Anyone can invest in it with a minimum of Rs 500 p.a. and it compounds money at the rate of 7.5-8.5% p.a. It also has a lock-in period of 15 years.

Here, we consider the lock-in as an advantage as the youth of India needs to give it time for their money to compound to plan their goals and achieve financial freedom because if young India doesn’t learn to save

and invest for their retirement they will end up becoming liabilities rather than assets for our country.
