The candidates are not honest. The voters are not educated. Not all press is objective. And the social platforms don't want responsibility to police the truth. Unless one of these groups steps up, democracy may be doomed.
Facebook, Twitter, & YouTube should stop selling all campaign ads until they develop a safer approach or laws require it. Otherwise we’ll keep seeing campaign ads like “[Salacious lie] so donate me” to buy more campaign ads...
